Position Summary

JOB PURPOSE

Backfill for SAP BPO function Sale & Distribution

MAIN DUTIES

  1. support the management of a variety of Parker Meggitt customer accounts to deliver world-class service and support by contributing towards customer score cards, immediately responding to enquiries, collaborating internally to prepare and deliver quotations, and joining with the planning team to accurately forecast demand.

  2. serve as the primary interface for a variety of our customers, responsible for ensuring the most efficient and positive relationships, while enabling level-loading of production and expeditious resolution of customer assertions. In this role you’ll also work closely with key internal stakeholders and have a solid internal network relevant to the customers you support.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Account Management Support: Collaborate with the Senior Customer Service Supervisor to manage various customer accounts, including order books, customer portals, and participation in meetings as needed.
  2. Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring timely resolution of all customer orders and inquiries.
  3. Forecasting and Order Processing: Support the Senior Customer Service Supervisor in producing monthly and annual forecasts based on sales trends, and assist in receiving, reviewing, and entering purchase orders into the ERP system.
  4. Order Processing and Review: Oversee the sales order review process, manage customer purchase orders in the ERP system, and ensure accuracy and formal acknowledgment with customers
  5. Handles cancellations or changes in sales orders internally or externally and communicates the changes to the related internal departments or the customer.
  6. Maintains close liaison with Manufacturing to ensure that delivery dates are quoted within a time frame that is attainable while following the guidelines of the on-time delivery program.
  7. Other tasks as required by manager

JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Foreign Trade or related fields.
  2. At least 1-year experience in supply chain and Manufacturing environment.
  3. Fluent English and good computer skills (Microsoft office, SAP/ ERP).
