Job overview and responsibilities
The Corporate Development and Strategy team is an agile group focused on shaping the future of United Airlines through external partnerships, investments, and strategic initiatives.
This role is an opportunity to support the evaluation and execution of partnerships, investments, and M&A transactions. The individual will work closely with senior team members to conduct financial analysis, develop insights on industry trends, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the company.
QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- BS in related field
- 2+ years in investment banking, corporate development, private equity or management consulting
- Strong background in financial and business strategy analysis
- Prior experience in a finance, strategy or consulting organization
Experience with PowerPoint, Word and Excel, including building three-statement financial models and performing comprehensive valuation analyses
Self-starter with entrepreneurial approach, intellectual curiosity
Strong project management skills
Ability to manage workload effectively and deliver quality work on schedule
- Ability to travel up to 30
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

The base pay range for this role is $81,795.00 to $106,602.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
