Job Description:
The jobholder is primarily responsible for creating the repair orders (RO) for components stock in Warehouse. Responsible for monitoring part of the supply chain performance through the control of repair orders and ensure accurate aircraft configuration is updated in Airbus MIS (Maintenance Information System). Work closely with MRO and Warehouse to ensure close communication and prevent unnecessary delays due to spare issues. Provide guidance and act as a role model to the team.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure that all repair orders created follows the standard guidelines provided by Airbus HQ
Fulfill Local Customs requirements to facilitate the shipment of components sent for repair
Inspection of U/S (unserviceable) Units and “S” (serviceable) Units Credited back into store
Provide a list of unserviceable units pending for ACD (Aircraft configuration) or Box Closure to FCO (FHS Customer Operations) for Customer’s Aircraft
Ensure Aircraft Configuration is performed accurately for all FHS components removed from Customer’s Aircraft in Airbus MIS.
Manage the creation of repair orders in SIA’s SAP system for A380 FHS covered components
Manage the creation of new PNs in SIA’s SAP system
Manage RFO Creation and Update in SIA’s SAP system to facilitate the Goods Receipt process for A380 FHS covered components
Segregate parts based on UNP (Unit Price) and Coverage and instruct warehouse for return
Manage and resolve abnormal status in Airbus MIS, and perform investigation with internal and external parties including vendors without direct authority
Perform the AMASIS goods issuance (Issue slip)
Creation of repair order for SIA 380 Group 3 parts with SIA SAP IT system
Creation of the LO (loan Order) to the repair shop after GR of U/S parts. (GR U/S and LO creation)
Creation in SIA SAP system of the new PN(s) identification number
Update RFO (Refurbishment order) in SAP by the MRO (Maintenance Repair Organisation)
Check the maintenance planning and align the RO for Hard life or soft life unit
Assign parts based on UNP (Unit price) / Coverage and instruct warehouse accordingly
Follow up and rectify abnormal status, clear Backlog and Goods Receive quarantine in AMASIS
Other duties reasonably determined from time to time by the Company
Secondary Responsibilities
Guide and coach new controllers, support FHS (Flight Hours Services) repair stations training
Manage unserviceable and serviceable units inspection in warehouse and ensure proper documents are uploaded in system
Undertake continual improvement and deploy ideas to enhance overall repair order process
Report to FHS Repair network on status, and undertake regional repair assignments
Managing Ad-Hoc requests from warehouse, COD (Components on Demand), RO Team etc
Printing of U/S Tags Received for U/S Units Returned to Warehouse
Recording U/S information in Labels Tracking Report
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Logistics, Business admin, or Engineering
- Over 5 years of work experience, with 2 years in repair control of components preferably within the Aerospace industry.
- Understand different repair category i.e. Overhaul, service, scrap
- Creation of Repair Orders, and Dispatch Notice
- Knowledge in Logistics, Warehouse controlling
- High proficiency in Google Suite or MS Excel
- Aircraft spare parts knowledge
- AMASIS or SAP experience
