We have an immediate opening for a Technician, Avionics for the Operations Department—Langley. This position will be based out of the Langley facility and will report to the Crew Chief, Avionics.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintenance & installation of avionics and electrical systems fitted to aircraft
- Ensuring all applicable AD’s, SB’s, modifications , SL’s, etc. are complied with
- Recording work on Company build sheets or applicable forms
- Following established maintenance techniques and adhering to standards
- Placing complete parts orders for projects
- Submitting product status reports
- Other duties as assigned
Applicable Qualifications, Attributes, and Competencies
- Completion of formal, recognized technical training in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME), avionics, electronics, or a related discipline (BCIT or equivalent program)
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of aircraft avionics and related electrical systems in a regulated aviation maintenance environment
- Possession of a current Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) “E” license is considered an asset
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical documentation, including maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins
- Experience working in compliance with applicable aviation regulatory requirements and maintenance standards (e.g., Transport Canada CARs or equivalent authority standards)
- Demonstrated experience diagnosing and resolving avionics and aircraft electrical system faults using technical documentation and diagnostic procedures
- Experience working independently in a structured maintenance environment with minimal direct supervision
- Demonstrated experience supporting or coordinating work within a team-based aviation maintenance environment (leadership or mentoring experience considered an asset)
- Ability to travel and work overtime in accordance with operational requirements
Salary: $63, 256 - $79, 070
