Job Role:
  • Perform timely pickup and delivery of aircraft parts, components, tooling, and hazmat to and from vendors, repair stations, airports, and customer locations, supporting helicopter/rotary wing maintenance operations.
  • Verify all parts and paperwork upon pickup/delivery, including certifications, 8130-3 tags, traceability documents, and packing slips. Ensure proper handling of AOG, time-sensitive, and high-value components.
  • Maintain accurate chain-of-custody documentation for all transported items, including signatures, times, and condition notes, in compliance with FAA, DOT, and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation. Secure all loads properly to prevent damage, FOD, or loss during transport.
  • Handle and transport hazardous materials in accordance with DOT/IATA regulations, including proper labeling, documentation, and vehicle placarding when required.
  • Collaborate with shipping/receiving, maintenance, and planning teams to prioritize runs, communicate ETAs, and resolve delivery discrepancies.
  • Utilize electronic tracking systems, GPS, and company apps to log mileage, routes, and delivery confirmations efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, tolls, and expenses. Submit daily driver logs and delivery paperwork to support invoicing and audit requirements.
  • Foster a culture of safety by adhering to all traffic laws, company driving policies, and airport badging/airside driving procedures when applicable.
  • Provide support for warehouse duties including loading/unloading, staging parts, and inventory assistance as needed.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Google Applications.
  • Comfortable using smartphone apps, GPS navigation, and electronic logging systems.
  • Must have a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and commitment to supporting aviation operations through reliable logistics.
  • Ability to travel locally and regionally on behalf of the company (acceptable driving record, valid drivers license and car insurance required).
Required Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record required. CDL not required but a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience in parts delivery, courier, logistics, or warehouse operations required. Aviation experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with aircraft parts, 8130-3 tags, and aviation paperwork preferred.
  • DOT Hazmat certification preferred
  • Experience following delivery manifests and procedures accurately required.
  • Experience using electronic tracking or inventory programs preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70lbs consistently.
  • Ability to load and unload vehicles, including bending, squatting, and reaching.
  • Ability to work in an aircraft hangar, warehouse, and outdoor environments which at times may be hot, cold, dusty, or loud.
  • Ability to sit and drive for extended periods, including in traffic and varying weather conditions.
  • Visual acuity to inspect parts for damage and read small print on tags and paperwork.
