  • Examine composite materials with irregular geometry, 3D printed parts, cable assemblies, machined parts, and printed circuit board assemblies for defects and nonconformances.
  • Use basic hand metrology equipment such as calipers, pin gauges, thread gauges, and micrometers to perform accurate measurements and inspections.
  • Conduct visual inspections to identify surface defects, dimensional issues, and other quality concerns.
  • Document inspection results using both paper-based records and electronic systems, including Microsoft productivity software.

  • Knowledge of first article inspection processes and requirements.
  • Ability to use Microsoft productivity software for documentation and reporting of inspection results.
  • Comfort presenting nonconformances to a multifunctional team in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established inspection procedures.

  • IPC-610 certification (desired).
  • Previous experience with inspection tools and measurement equipment in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to supplier quality processes and incoming inspection workflows.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small quality team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
