You’ll be producing high-quality aircraft components using stretch forming and associated fabrication techniques, within a team that values precision, process, and pride in the work.
Key Responsibilities
- Stretch forming of aircraft sheet metal components
- Marking out, cutting, and forming materials to specification
- Working from engineering drawings, templates, and work instructions
- Using hand tools and mechanical aids including presses and forming equipment
- Ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean, compliant, and controlled working environment
Requirements
- Time-served apprenticeship in Sheet Metal Work or similar
- Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong understanding of sheet metal forming processes
- Ability to accurately interpret engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and consistent workmanship
