Job Title: Warehouse Tool Clerk - 1st Shift

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Tool Clerk, working on the first shift from Sunday to Wednesday, 6 am to 4:30 pm. You will be responsible for checking inventory, signing tools in and out to mechanics, and utilizing our sophisticated computer system. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment will be crucial as you perform cycle counting, tool picking, calibration, and stock verification. The role requires mechanical inclination and bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check inventory and manage the sign-in and sign-out process for tools.
• Utilize the computer system for inventory management and tool tracking.
• Perform cycle counting and pick tools as needed.
• Calibrate tools and verify their stock.
• Receive work orders on a tablet, ensure tools are provided to mechanics, and inspect returned tools.
• Conduct detailed inspections of tools for damage or missing parts, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Participate in forklift and scissor lift training.
• Assist in the warehouse operations as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience in warehouse operations, picking, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in data entry and use of inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• Mechanical inclination and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Receiving inspection experience.
• Experience with cycle counting and parts staging.
• Bilingual skills are an advantage.

Work Environment

Our facility is unique, modern, and expanding, providing an excellent environment for growth in the aviation industry. The work environment can vary in temperature, so additional clothing layers are recommended during colder months. It is a clean, well-lit, and organized setting. Closed-toed shoes, steel-toed boots, gym shoes, or work boots are required, along with jeans without rips or tears and comfortable work shirts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Rockford,IL.
